About Daniel Lightfoot
A visual artist exploring the cosmos of visionary, spiritual and mystical boundaries, Daniel works mostly in acrylics and watercolors. Using a combination of techniques from both disciplines, Daniel creates the colorfully rich vistas of formlessness and brings it all together with the use of sacred geometry, in order to bring form from chaos.
Along with the abstract work, Daniel also paints traditional landscapes from both the imagination and from this world.
In recent years Daniel has begun doing photography, mostly landscape, sky-scapes and other nature subjects sometimes combining photographs and elements of his paintings, through digital manipulation to create delightfully surprising results.
Photoshop has become one of the tools in Daniel's kit inverting his painting's colors to produces a whole different piece of art to which he adds digital elements.
Daniel has done commissioned work and hopes to be able to further this area of his creativity.
